Light is my central subject, and a love of paint is foremost. We live in a luminous field of light, and our culture has arrived at a point of radiance, via the computer screen. This effulgent, transparent light, as filtered through nature, is what I seek to portray. I also seek a visual peace, and the movements of the brush, and the decisions taken on the picture plane, become conduits of feeling. I believe art has a spiritual dimension and the power to heal.
